Ranchscaping
A pond that won't hold water or a road that washes out the first spring usually comes back to a contractor who didn't read the ground first. Ranchscaping is shaping a property so it works the way the owner needs it to: water where cattle and wildlife need it, roads that hold up after a hard rain, and brush cleared back to open ground. We've completed more than 100 projects and cleared or developed more than 500 acres. Our ranch work includes complex lake builds with dams, spillways, piers and fountains.

Custom lakes, stock ponds and tanks with dams and spillways to hold them, laid out to follow how your land already drains so they catch the runoff instead of fighting it. We also clean sediment out of existing ponds and tanks to bring back the water they were built to hold.
Ranch Roads and Senderos
Ranch roads, driveways and senderos built on a compacted base and graded to shed water, so they stay passable after a storm.
Land Clearing and Mulching
Brush and cedar clearing, mulching, root plowing and raking, from a single homesite to hundreds of acres, so the ground opens back up for grass, livestock and a clear view.
Pasture and Site Restoration
Roller chopping, root plowing and erosion control to turn overgrown or worn-out ground back into usable pasture, and to restore disturbed sites when a project wraps up.

Oil Field Construction Services
A pad that isn't ready holds up the rig, and a site left rough puts you crosswise with the landowner. We build the ground an operation stands on, from the lease road in to the pad, the pits and the fence line. When the work is done, we reclaim the site. Years of ranch work mean we know what a landowner expects to get back.

Pad Sites
Drilling and production pads cleared, cut, filled and compacted to the operator's spec, so they hold up under rig weight.

How much does it cost to build a pond or lake?
It depends on the size of the water, how much dirt has to move, and whether your soil will hold water or needs a liner. We walk the property before we price it, so the number you get is for your ground and not a rough per-acre guess.
Why isn't the lowest bid always the cheapest job?
A low number can leave out compaction, drainage or the right base, and those tend to show up later as a washed-out road, a leaking pond or a pad that has to be reworked. We'll walk you through what's in our number and disclose any costs that could come up along the way, so there are no surprises during the project.
Can you bid commercial site work from plans?
Yes. Send the civil plans and the scope sheet and we'll price the work listed above.
How soon can you start?
Usually sooner than you'd expect. With our own operators and equipment on most jobs, we're not waiting on a rental machine or a crew we've never worked with. Give us your target start date and we'll tell you straight when we can be on site.
